A lovely morning with another north westerley, a pleasant 3 as we went out of the river however this increased throughout the morning until it was gusting 30 and with wind against tide, the sea was very choppy and unpleasant. However we were all put to shame by Dolphin and her secret weapon, Miss Russell who together with her dad and Tom had a great start and pulled away from the rest of the fleet and stomped away for a well deserved win. Sadly we were having to work quite hard so there was little time to admire the Old Gaffers as they went of down to Hamble Yacht Services.
