A brisk north westerley breeze made for excellent X racing conditions although more sun would have been nice. Six boats came out to play including Mischief who left Itchenor at 8.30, having done their Points Week, to arrive at the start with 10 minutes to spare! After a minor hiccup at the start when the Committee boat anchor dragged making it difficult for Magic Dragon who was late to the start unable to cross the line on starboard, everyone got away with It showing the fleet a clean pair of heels. Richard had a cunning plan and used the tide to good effect on the last beat to finish 2nd with Mischief.
