A more clement afternoon and 6 boats out including newly refurbished Lodestar and a very happy Martin who has managed to fit 32 jammers into her systems! They were still sorting out the string as they set off and the wind died as they tried to get out of the river so were late to the start. John Butt had very kindly organised Eddie Mayes to be race officer so we had a proper start and a pleasant force 2/3 wind - perfect. Dolphin was in fine form and is really starting to fly now, all Tom and Julie's winter faring has really paid off. Kathleen was short of crew so borrowed one of Tom's bevy of beautiful blonde's, Cheryl, who enjoyed herself and would like to join us regularly.
