Finally a lovely warm evening with a light to moderate southwesterly. Mischief continued her accident prone season by hitting the windward mark and having to do turns!! As always when racing in the Solent it is all about tides and so it proved particularly on the final leg home to Hamble Point. Lodestar and Magic Dragon went inshore to beat the tide whilst Kathleen, Pepper and Mischief went straight for the mark. Kathleen who had led for most of the race, was just pipped at the post.
