A race of a few issues. All was going well on X124, leading X47 and X150. On the homeward leg to Hamble Point she went hard aground being well inside Bald Head at close to low water. Vanity sailed past towards the finish only to go aground herself within touching distance o Bald Head. Mos went waterside to help them when vanity appeared to bump forward. Once off 124 quietly inched out and headed to windward of 47. Like the silence of the lambs she glided past47 in very light airs, spinnaker shy but just pulling to win by 10 secs. Munch banter between boats with 150 third and 82 following the racing fleet home. The tow up river by the HRSC rib was much appreciated by one and all. This autumn series has certainly given us some varied racing and has been better supported than 2010.
