Rocking and Rolling. At long last the majority of the fleet was out racing although some found the attractions of Bembridge more attractive! The first serious wind of the season 4 gusting 5 (24 knots). Mischief made a strategic error by not going straight across the channel after the windward mark (Stormforce) to get into the contra tide down to Royal Thames. This allowed Nanette to take the lead which Mischief could not claw back. There was a hairy run down to Royal Southern when we did rock and roll (front man not keen on this point of sail and tends to mutter alot!!). It was great to see Leading Wind and Southwind. Satu is also showing the fleet a clean pair of heels as is It.
