An excellent and interesting afternoons sailing with tide and wind shift considerations with a 3-4 force north westerley wind. Lark was gate boat but the other two boats were still late to cross the line. However Dolphin pulled ahead with a correct tack towards the end of the first beat. Mischief was catching Dolphin on the downwind leg but then had a touch of the slows on the next beat (pinching, too tight on the main and the kicker) which allowed her to get away again. A great and enjoyable afternoons sailing
